Wolves are for a very busy finish to the January transfer window.
The club are in the market for new players after signing Emmanuel Agbadou earlier in the window, and it’s thought the club could land up to four new additions.
Wolves are trying to sign Kevin Danso, but face stiff competition from Rennes. Currently, he’s the player getting the most mentions regarding Wolves transfers, with Vitor Pereira really in need of a second new centre-back.
Yesterday, it was claimed Wolves are also in talks to sign Ukrainian midfielder Volodymyr Brazhko. He would come in as a replacement for Mario Lemina, who wants out.
Wolves are also looking to bring in a forward and a striker on loan, but it remains to be seen if such additions can be made.
Fans are growing concerned that Wolves are leaving it too late to strengthen all these positions. But we’ll see what transpires.
Taking into account some current transfer stories, here’s how Wolves’ starting XI could potentially look once the window has closed.
One potential Wolves starting XI after January transfer window closes

In goal, there will be no change after the closure of the window. There have been no links to a new goalkeeper and Jose Sa is therefore set to continue in the team.
If Wolves win the race to sign Danso, then one would suspect he’d go straight into the starting XI.
With Emmanuel Agbadou having decent pace to get out and defend wide areas, he would perhaps shift over to the right side, with Danso to play in the middle.
Toti Gomes is perfect for the left-sided role.

Nelson Semedo and Rayan Ait-Nouri would likely continue starting as wing-backs, although Ait-Nouri has not been his usual self of late and perhaps faces competition from the lively Rodrigo Gomes.
If Wolves sign Brazhko, then that could mean Pereira uses a three-man midfield again, with Joao Gomes and Andre unlikely to lose their starting berths at this point.
That system would mean a front two, and those two players would surely be Matheus Cunha and Jorgen Strand Larsen.
There was a lot of talk about Cunha and him potentially leaving the club last week. But it’s all gone quiet over the Brazilian, with Wolves firm in their stance that Cunha is not for sale.
A Wolves team that looks more solid
If Wolves do sign Brazhko and Danso then it’ll be interesting to see if Pereira will set up like this.
It does look like the back three is here to stay now, and that is good news for Toti who suits playing on the left.
When Wolves have the ball it effectively becomes four at the back anyway, with Toti moving out wide to cover the space vacated by Ait-Nouri.

Agbadou has looked good so far, but it feels like he’d be more comfortable on the opposite side. So far, his passing has been a tad wayward, but he looks a seriously good defender.
Santiago Bueno has done OK in parts for Wolves but still hasn’t wholly convinced, and one would imagine Danso would take his place in the middle.
Brazhko may not start straight away if he came in. But we’ve seen Wolves go with three in midfield plenty of times, and Pereira may want the star’s physicality and energy in there along with Gomes and Andre.
