Wolverhampton Wanderers will already be thinking ahead to their next game, which is against Leeds United in the Premier League on Friday night.

Nuno Espirito Santo’s side ground out a 2-1 win at St. Mary’s Stadium on Sunday, just a couple of days after the Saints dumped them out of the FA Cup.

It was a big three points, and a big confidence booster to move up a place in the table.

Up next for Wolves is a Leeds side that have had a rollercoaster time of things in their first season back in the English top-flight.

The Whites under Marcelo Bielsa have the potential to tear teams apart or get torn apart themselves, and they’re most people’s pick as the most entertaining side in the league right now, but are in no danger of going down.

The last meeting between the sides ended with Wolves taking all three points at Elland Road with Raul Jimenez grabbing the only goal in West Yorkshire.

Wolves rode their luck a little that day, but should be confident going into the second meeting.

There is one Leeds star though who has really started to sparkle since the sides last met, and Wolves undoubtedly have to shackle him.

Raphinha a PL star in the making… but so is Neto

Brazilian Raphinha is to Leeds what Pedro Neto is to Wolves.

The £17 million (plus add-ons) summer signing from Rennes (BBC Sport) is an absolute joy to watch and is an extremely creative and hardworking player.

Those traits are also present in Neto, who is rapidly becoming one of Europe’s most exciting youngsters.

Whichever one shines brightest in this game will give their side an absolutely brilliant chance of sealing the win – hopefully, Neto can prompt panic stations for a defence that has the joint second-worst defence in the Premier League so far.
