Last weekend saw Wolves once again on the receiving end of a poor decision by officials, now PGMOL has made a move which proves it.
Last Saturday at Molineux saw Wolves grab a 2-2 draw to extend their unbeaten run to five games.
However, they will feel hard done by however after Newcastle were given a highly controversial penalty which made it 2-1 at the time.
The call saw Hee-Chan Hwang look to clear the ball with Fabian Schar supposedly caught in the process
On instant reaction, Karen Carney agreed with many Wolves fans that it shouldn’t have been given as a penalty.
The backlash to the decision didn’t stop there with Newcastle legend Alan Shearer admitting it wasn’t a penalty.
After the backlash, PGMOL had no choice but to respond.

What has the PGMOL done?
After the poor decision, Wolves could have expected another apology from PGMOL however that wasn’t received.
Instead PGMOL have made a move which perhaps shows more than an apology that Wolves were hard done by last week.
Anthony Taylor, who was referee last week has been demoted to Championship action this week for the first time since 2019.
This according to Express and Star who add that Taylor will be on VAR for Liverpool’s game on Sunday, but won’t referee in the top flight.
Wolves continue to suffer at the hands of officials
Last week wasn’t the first and won’t be the last that Wolves will have incorrect decisions go against them. Most notably this season on the opening weekend the ridiculous decision to not award a penalty against Mancester United.
Andre Onana absolutely should have seen a penalty given, but it wasn’t and an apology was later issued. We know it happens all the time but it does seem to happen more often to Wolves.
