Wolves are back in action in the Premier League on Wednesday night as the Old Gold travel to Merseyside.
Everton away is the next challenge for Gary O’Neil to overcome in a must-win Premier League clash.
Wolves fans have put pressure on O’Neil to get his side performing after the Midlands club fell back into the bottom three.
After Wolves’ humiliating defeat to Bournemouth, the manager has to get his squad in order and ready to battle for three points at Goodison Park.

Wolves beat Everton to signing Matheus Cunha
The 2024/25 calendar has been miserable for Wolves however, there has been one shining light in particular.
Matheus Cunha has been incredible so far this season, dragging the squad out of testing situations on numerous occasions.
Against Everton, the Brazilian will be key to O’Neil’s side putting up a fight at Goodison, paving the way for the forward to show the Toffees what they could have had.
Before Cunha put pen to paper at Molineux, Frank Lampard was on the former Atletico Madrid ace’s tail to try and lure him to Merseyside.
Speaking after Wolves sealed a deal for the superstar, the ex-Everton boss commended Julen Lopetegui for collecting Cunha’s signature.
“It is a very interesting market now. We were very aware of the player [Cunha], he’s a really interesting player,” Lampard said, via Liverpool Echo.
“But the number is big and Wolves to be fair have made the decision to go for him and everyone has to work in different parameters and it wasn’t a parameter for us to work in.”
Wolves agreed a deal with Atletico to confirm the Brazilian’s transfer on an initial loan, eventually paying around £44m for his services, a price that turned out to be a bargain.
Cunha can show Everton what they’re missing
In 13 Premier League appearances, Cunha already has 10 goal contributions, telling of how he can trouble Sean Dyche’s side on Wednesday evening.
Keeping the Brazil international happy and in form could be crucial to Wolves’ chances of survival amid a dire run of form for the most of 2024.
Despite being the Old Gold’s shining light, there were some concerns about Cunha against Bournemouth, as the 25-year-old failed to show what he’s capable of.
For that reason, Everton should be more fearful of Wolves’ daring forward, who will be desperate to get back among the goals as the pack charge for three points.
