Wolves beat Tottenham Hotspur 4-2 at Molineux on Sunday – and the fantastic scenes at full-time really did feel signficant.
Wolves capitalised on some abysmal Spurs defending to take another three points, which has been the case for the last four games now.
Everything is starting to click now under Vitor Pereira, with the team transformed in recent weeks.
Wolves defend so much better, still carry a big goal threat and most importantly, play as a team.
In the early stages of the season under Gary O’Neil, Wolves only really had the second of those three things.
The decision to sack O’Neil perhaps came later than it should have done, and one wonders if Fosun do regret not acting sooner, having seen what’s happened over the last few months.
Pereira has been a revelation, and it’s so very obvious now what the Wolves owners have to do.
Fosun must back Vitor Pereira this summer at Wolves

Questions have been asked of the owners over the last few years at Wolves.
After finishing seventh for two seasons in a row after promotion back to the top-flight in 2018, Wolves have been on a steady decline and been nowhere near challenging for European football.
The goal is to get back challenging.
In order to do that though, a manager needs the tools to make it happen.
Fosun have been accused by some of not handing the last few managers to sit in the dugout at Molineux the tools to thrive.
But Pereira has now made a strong case to be backed this summer – and Fosun simply cannot let him down.
He’s healed a dressing room that was fractured and emotional.
He has not been afraid to make big decisions, such as keeping Mario Lemina out of matchday squads after his refusal to play, despite an apology, and leaving Craig Dawson out of Wolves’ update Premier League squad.
He’s also handled Matheus Cunha and all the drama surrounding him really well.
And most importantly of all, he’s transformed the team, got points on the board and kept Wolves in the Premier League.

Wolves share the best photo taken at Molineux all season after win over Tottenham
Shortly after yesterday’s win over Spurs, Wolves took to their official account on X to share what is, arguably, the best photo take at Molineux this season.
It shows, the all the players linking in a line and celebrating. A banner of Pereira can be seen with his now-famous phrase ‘First the points, then the pints’, which was uttered for the first time recently as the boss spoke about being one of the fans and going to the pub.
It really does just symbolise the togetherness at the club now, and hopefully Fosun took note of the scenes that unfolded at full-time yesterday.
What Pereira has done in such a short space of time is nothing short of miraculous. The fans adore him, and he’s earned a good level of backing from his superiors this summer.
We know Fosun love the self-sustaining approach. But if Pereira needs a bit of extra cash to get someone in he thinks will be beneficial, then they cannot hesitate to help him.
