In the end, it was a rather frantic end to the January transfer window for Wolves, with two new players coming in.
A few days ago, Wolves were beaten to Kevin Danso by Tottenham Hotspur, which left fans fuming.
Danso had been set for a Wolves medical, but Spurs came in at the eleventh hour and signed the player on a permanent deal.
Transfer deadline day then rolled around, and Wolves – determined to respond to the Danso setback – managed to sign two players for key positions.
Wolves signed Nasser Djiga, who has come in from Red Star Belgrade.
And Wolves also completed a deal for Marshall Munetsi, who’s signed from Reims.
Here’s how Vitor Pereira could now set his team up following a productive January window.
A potential Wolves XI featuring Djiga and Munetsi

One would imagine that both of the new signings will need a bit of time to bed in at Wolves.
It will be no surprise if neither of them start games straight away.
That said, they’ve both been signed for a reason, and Pereira will likely be calling on them both pretty soon.
Jose Sa has nailed down the goalkeeper’s spot again, and we could possibly see a backline of Djiga on the right, Emmanuel Agbadou in the middle and Toti Gomes on the left.
Agbadou and Toti were excellent against Villa and both look very comfortable in their respective positions.
If Djiga is to become a starter, then he may well play as the right-sided defender. Matt Hobbs has said Djiga is ‘quick’ and ‘aggressive’, potentially making him well-suited for the position currently held by Matt Doherty.

Nelson Semedo and Rayan Ait-Nouri would be the wing-backs as usual.
Wolves have gone with three midfielders before and Pereira may wish to throw new signing Munetsi in with Joao Gomes and Andre.
Andre has tended to play deep for Wolves, so Gomes and Munetsi may operate as a pair of eights. This season, Munetsi has been playing as a central midfielder for Reims rather than holding.
Then up top, Matheus Cunha would obviously start, possibly alongside Jorgen Strand Larsen. But Goncalo Guedes is also another option.

Djiga and Munetsi must follow Agbadou’s lead
It is a relief that Wolves got both a defender and a midfielder in on deadline day.
Really, the club should have made these signings weeks ago. But that said, the January window can sometimes be difficult to operate in.
Djiga and Munetsi are positive signings and hopefully, they’ll now be able to follow Agbadou’s lead at Molineux.
Agbadou signed for the club a few weeks ago and has impressed early doors, making himself an immediate starter.
They’ve come in because Pereira feels they can make an impact now, and hopefully, both will live up to the expectations.
