Wolves might just be tempted to cash in on Morgan Gibbs-White if they are successful in their pursuit of another centre-forward.
It is thought that Wanderers are seeking to bring in an out-and-out number nine following the acquisition of Goncalo Guedes.

The 25-year-old came in from Valencia at the start of this week.
He can operate through the middle, but he is primarily a winger.
Wolves have been linked with the likes of Ludovic Ajorque, Michy Batshuayi and Hwang Ui-jo in recent days. Andrea Belotti has also been mentioned, but he appears likely to join AS Roma.
If Wolves are successful in bringing in a centre-forward, then there will then be plenty of options at Lage’s disposal.
There’s Raul Jimenez when he comes back from injury, Guedes, Pedro Neto, Daniel Podence, Hwang Hee-chan, and then Adama Traore and Chem Campbell if the youngster doesn’t go out on loan.

Wolves also have Morgan Gibbs-White, who is back in the picture after an amazing season in 2021/22 with Sheffield United.
But the England U21 international is the subject of interest from Nottingham Forest, who have made several bids to sign him this summer.
One just wonders if, after signing Guedes, the Wolves board might just be tempted to cash in from here.
Gibbs-White sale could be in the offing at Wolves amid intense interest from Forest
It has been reported previously that Wolves would like to keep Gibbs-White.
But this is serious money we are talking about, for a player who is still unproven in the Premier League. Wanderers perhaps didn’t even expect Forest to be still pushing.

Wolves have signed Guedes who can play on the right and centrally, just like Gibbs-White.
If Wolves sign a centre-forward, that could mean more chance of Guedes getting minutes on the right. Daniel Podence is absolutely tailor-made to play as a number 10, so opportunities for Gibbs-White there could be limited.
With so many other forward options, it might be that Wolves officials decide to cash in.
