Wolves have just enjoyed a busy January transfer window and could be set for another important transfer period at the end of the season.
Wolves are predicted to avoid relegation at the expense of Leicester City, Ipswich Town and Southampton, and should this projection come true, could be in for a busy summer.
The Old Gold will have lots to consider at the end of the campaign, including who to let go and who to offer fresh terms to.
Five players will be out of contract at Wolves at the end of the season, including Carlos Forbs, who joined on a season-long loan from Ajax, and we’ve taken a look at what the future could have in store for all of them.

Nelson Semedo – Renew
Nelson Semedo has just five months left on his deal.
The 31-year-old has been in the Midlands since his move from Barcelona in 2020, and now captain of the team, he is the team’s highest-profile soon-to-be free agent.
While there is some uncertainty over what the Old Gold will choose to do with others, Semedo’s future is more assured.
Although it remains to be seen if he’ll commit, we expect Wolves to offer the full-back a renewed deal before the start of next season.
Pablo Sarabia – Renew
Pablo Sarabia’s contract expires at the end of the season.
Although the former Paris Saint-Germain playmaker is approaching 33, his performances under Vitor Pereira have indicated an upturn in form.
Sarabia was excellent against Aston Vila and was a big contributor in Wolves’ 2-0 win, which saw them take a huge three points from last weekend’s Midlands Derby.
While we don’t expect the Old Gold to put a bumper new long-term deal on the table, Fosun offering Sarabia a one-year extension wouldn’t be a surprise.
Craig Dawson – Release
Craig Dawson is the third Wolves player heading for free agency.
The centre-back has featured just three times since Pereira took over from Gary O’Neil last year.
Pereira has confirmed Dawson is not in his plans after Wolves signed Emmanuel Agbadou and Nasser Djiga in the January transfer window.

Dawson is now in talks to terminate his contract ahead of schedule and leave Molineux on a free transfer.
Jorgen Strand Larsen — Buy
Jorgen Strand Larsen’s loan move from Celta Vigo came with an option to buy if he made a certain number of appearances.
Those conditions have been met, meaning Wolves will have to purchase the Norwegian forward for around £23 million at the end of the season.
Strand Larsen is currently out with a hamstring injury but hopes to return in time for March’s fixtures.
Carlos Forbs – Return
Nothing more than an emergency backup option, Carlos Forbs has started just one Premier League start since his loan move to Molineux.
It is for this reason that the 20-year-old will be sent back to Ajax at the end of the season.
Ajax wanted to recall Forbs in the January window, but Wolves said no due to a lack of options upfront and very little time to find a replacement.
