Fosun have come under intense scrutiny from the Wolves fanbase but one thing they did recently deserves credit.
Wolves fans haven’t been happy with how the club has operated in recent years, seeing their side crumble from the heights of European football to battling relegation.
Fosun have been accused of asset-stripping, namely selling their most talented players for huge fees and not reinvesting sufficient money into the playing squad.
Luckily, new manager Vitor Pereira was backed in the transfer window. While it took them till transfer deadline day to announce their last two signings, Wolves were the second highest spenders in the Premier League, behind only Manchester City.
Pereira was able to bring in three new players, and it’s become clear one of those is potentially season-saving.

Wolves signing of Emmanuel Agbadou could save their season
Wolves signed Emmanuel Agbadou for £16.6 million from Reims, who became their first arrival of the January transfer window.
The 27-year-old has since slotted into the back three superbly, with Andy Thompson praising Agbadou after his recent displays.
The Ivorian was magnificent during Wolves’ 2-0 win over Aston Villa, and Chris Sutton dubbed Agbadou as ‘exceptional’ during the victory against Blackburn in the FA Cup.
Adding impeccable strength, power and aerial ability to a defence that was previously weak, Agbadou was named Wolves Player of the Month for January, displaying what an impact he’s made.
He’s instantly adapted to the Premier League’s physical demands while showing how comfortable he is on the ball.
The above two attributes have been important to his side’s recent success, and although the fixture against Liverpool on Sunday will be his toughest test yet, his arrival can be what saves Wolves in the battle against relegation and Fosun therefore deserve credit.

What Vitor Pereira has said about Agbadou
Wolves head to Liverpool this weekend. The Wanderers have not won in the league at Anfield since December 2010 when Stephen Ward scored the winner.
Ahead of this weekend’s clash, Pereira has spoken about the game-changing signing of Agbadou and highlighted the key attributes he’s brought to the defence.
“I’m very happy with him because he’s a strong player,” Pereira said via the Wolves official website.
“He’s helping us and was a very good signing. He brought strength, pace, confidence in the duels, which I like to see. He’s good with the ball. He has the skills that I like in a centre back.”
Hopefully, the Ivorian can continue his excellent start at Molineux, as it can inspire Wolves to safety come May.
