Wolves fans are rejoicing on Christmas Even after watching the team beat Chelsea 2-1 at Molineux today in the Premier League.
Wanderers are back to winning ways, after holding off some late pressure from the Blues, with Mario Lemina and Matt Doherty on target for the hosts.
Wolves were value for the three points today, having taken advantage of some poor Chelsea defending.
Wolves did ride their luck at times, with Raheem Sterling wasting two glorious opportunities, and Toti Gomes clearing a ball off the line at one point.
But Wolves were worthy winners – and Mario Lemina was simply fantastic today in midfield…
Mario Lemina shines in Wolves’ win over Chelsea

Chelsea started the better of the two teams today, and Wolves could probably count themselves fortunate to go in level at half-time.
The chance Sterling had when he picked Joao Gomes’ pocket was a huge let off, with the England man having two unmarked teammates in support.
One man who was superb all the way through though for Wolves was Lemina.
He got the goal today, but there was not a blade of grass he did not cover.
£45,000-a-week star Lemina was constantly breaking up play and making tackles, and that warrior-like spirit seemed to rub off on his teammates, especially in the second-half.
According to Sofascore, Lemina made four interceptions, six tackles and two clearances in addition to his goal. He also won 7/10 of the duels he contested.
Lemina so crucial for Wolves
This was another fantastic and influential display from Lemina, who has had plenty of those now this season.
Most of the talk has been about top goalscorer Hwang Hee-chan and Pedro Neto when he was fit.
But Lemina has just been so consistent in the engine room alongside Joao Gomes and just perfectly epitomises this Wolves team under Gary O’Neil, which is so much about hard work.
Sometimes when Wolves aren’t quite at it as a collective, it is common for Lemina to be the player standout and today was no different.
