Wolves have made a decision that strongly suggests one player will soon be leaving the club.
On Tuesday, Wanderers officially announced they had signed striker Jorgen Strand Larsen on loan from Spanish club Celta Vigo.
His move will be turned permanent automatically once he has made a certain number of appearances for the club.
He is the player Gary O’Neil has craved for some time, and fans can’t wait to watch him in action.
It is thought that Strand Larsen is not only a goal threat, but someone who works his socks off for the team and also creates chances for others.
The Norway international should give Wolves more of a cutting edge up top, and hopefully he will help the team to become more clinical.
Wolves striker Fabio Silva is surely going to leave soon as Jorgen Strand Larsen assumes number 9 shirt

Strand Larsen is a central striker, who also has the capacity to play out wide.
That is something he has done a number of times for the national team as Erling Haaland plays through the middle.
But by and large, Strand Larsen is someone who plays centrally.
And given he’s a central striker, Wolves have handed him the number nine shirt – which is interesting because Fabio Silva remains a Wolves player.
Silva assumed the number nine shirt early last season, and fans wondered if that would finally be the catalyst for him at Molineux.
But it did not prove to be so, with Gary O’Neil hardly playing him in the first half of 2023/24 before loaning him out to Rangers in January.
Wolves have not thought twice about handing new signing Strand Larsen his number nine shirt, which perhaps tells you all you need to know.
Wolves ready to sell Silva
If there was any potential for Silva to remain at Wolves this summer, it may have now just completely evaporated.
It has to be a real kick in the teeth for Silva to see his number nine shirt go to a new signing. Although it has to be said, the player has already said that it’s ‘no secret’ he wants to leave Molineux this summer.
Wolves are clearly keen for that to happen as well, given they’ve now made Strand Larsen the new number nine.
Thankfully for Wolves, interest in Silva does appear to be quite high.
Recently, it was suggested Sevilla and Real Valladolid are interested in the player. And before that, Italian clubs Bologna and Fiorentina are also keen.
Wolves paid a whopping £35 million for Silva and will get nowhere near that fee this summer. But the more clubs that are keen the better, and hopefully the hit Wolves take on him will not be too seismic.
