Wolves have made a decent start to the 2023/24 season all things considered.
It was a chaotic period just before the campaign kicked off, with Julen Lopetegui leaving.
But Gary O’Neil has come in and had a steady start.
There have been some poor results.
But the last two against Aston Villa and Manchester City have been cause for renewed optimism.
Some players have been in really good form so far, but as we move into the winter months O’Neil will surely be using more players in his squad.
Here are three that should be getting more minutes.
Toti Gomes
He has started the last two league games now, and Toti probably ought to be getting more minutes for how good a player he is.

The issue for him is that Wolves will be setting up with a back four in some games, and he likely won’t play ahead of Craig Dawson or Max Kilman.
He can also play left-back, but Rayan Ait-Nouri has started really well, and there is also Hugo Bueno competing there.
But Toti is just a solid player, and him coming into the starting XI has helped O’Neil and the team pick up four more points.
It would certainly be nice to see him more involved after the international break.
Tommy Doyle
We haven’t seen much of Doyle so far since he moved on loan from Manchester City.

It’s just two cameo appearances so far for the 21-year-old, who has Mario Lemina and Joao Gomes ahead of him currently.
Doyle is a really exciting young player. And the £4.3 million option to buy Wolves have on him will surely be triggered next year.
He prefers to operate as a holding midfielder and make use of his solid passing range.
Matt Hobbs called him a ‘technician’ when he signed, and perhaps there will be games that call for this kind of profile.
While Wolves are in a back three though, he may struggle to get into the team.
Sasa Kalajdzic
He is probably someone many Wolves fans want to see playing a bit more.
Kalajdzic has worked very hard to come back from his ACL injury, and has a couple of goals to his name this season.
But he still hasn’t been fully fit according to O’Neil.
You would like to think he’ll make progress over the international break, and come back ready to play a bit more for Wolves.

While Pedro Neto and Hwang Hee-chan have been among the goals for Wolves, Matheus Cunha has struggled with his finishing.
And so, perhaps there is an opportunity for Kalajdzic to starting getting more opportunities.
