From Pedro Neto to Hugo Bueno, deciding whether to keep or sell every Wolves player this summer.
Wolves have a big summer ahead of them. The club has a chance to really build on the success of Gary O’Neil after a fantastic first season.
Despite being favourites for relegation, the Molineux side could well end up in Europe at the end of the campaign.
However, if the club are to continue this momentum, changes need to be made in the transfer window. Wolves have plenty of players that need to depart that have no future at the club, while others could give them a decent profit.
Below we list every single player in Wolves’ first team either at the club or out on loan and decide whether the club should keep, sell or loan them out.
Wolves’ goalkeepers – keep or sell

Jose Sa – Keep
Despite his inconsistent performances this season, of late Jose Sa, has been a reliable man between the sticks. Wolves should look to keep him as the number one for at least another season.
Dan Bentley – Sell
For a number two, Dan Bentley has done little to push Sa for a starting spot. The goalkeeper has only come in when Sa has been injured and O’Neil hasn’t even trusted him to go in for the FA Cup games. The club should look to sell in and bring in another competitive number two.
Tom King – Keep
A solid third choice and seems to be a positive summer addition to the squad. Tom King was also given a new contract recently so it is highly unlikely that he will depart.
Wolves’ defenders – keep or sell

Matt Doherty – Keep
Matt Doherty has been a reliable option at the back. His ability to play both on the right and the left gives the club plenty of cover in case of injury. The Irishman also has a positive impact coming off the bench late in the game.
Craig Dawson – Keep
Easily Wolves’ best centre-back this season. The backline has looked lost without him since he has been injured. While age will soon catch up with him, Craig Dawson should at least be good for one more season.
Max Kilman – Sell
Wolves’ captain has come under some scrutiny in recent weeks. Against Coventry especially, the hosts looked like they were going to concede every time they faced an attack. With Max Kilman currently at his peak value, Wolves should look to cash in. Napoli bid £30 million for the defender last summer and the club should sell if a similar offer comes in again.
Toti Gomes – Keep
Toti Gomes has been reliable at the back this season. The upcoming campaign will be a big one for the defender which will define his long-term future at the club.
Nelson Semedo – Keep
An obvious decision. Nelson Semedo has been one of Wolves’ best players so far this campaign and rarely has a bad game. The Portuguese international should have his position locked down for years to come.
Hugo Bueno – Loan
The Spaniard has struggled to lock down a position at wing-back due to the form of Rayan Ait-Nouri. Unless the Algerian is sold in the summer, Wolves should look to loan Hugo Bueno out to continue his development.
Santiago Bueno – Sell
It has been an uninspiring first season at Molineux for the Uruguayan. Coming in with a high reputation, Santiago Bueno has been unable to break into a backline that has been poor at times this season. When he has come in, he rarely looks confident. Wolves should look to cash in and make some of their money back in the summer.
Dexter Lembikisa – Keep
Dexter Lembikisa has impressed in Scotland after a rotten time at Rotherham at the start of the season. The right-back scored a great goal for Jamaica in the international break and deserves a shot as the understudy to Semedo next season.
Yerson Mosquera – Keep
The next campaign will be a big one for the centre-back. After another successful loan spell, this time at Villarreal, Wolves should look to utilise Yerson Mosquera next season. The defender could well end up being a regular first-teamer by the end of the campaign.
Ki-Jana Hoever – Sell
The full-back’s career at Molineux appears to be over. After an uninspiring few years, he was sent on loan and is now at Stoke City. It appears that he will never be good enough and Wolves should sell.
Rayan Ait-Nouri – Keep
Another easy keep. The Algerian has been inspiring recently and has dragged the club to plenty of victories this season. Hopefully, Wolves can fight off any potential clubs that want his signature this summer.
Wolves’ midfielders – keep or sell

Mario Lemina – Keep
Another easy decision. Wolves would be mad to sell Mario Lemina at any point. The midfielder has been fantastic throughout the season and has a knack for scoring highly important goals.
Joao Gomes – Keep
Arguably Wolves’ Player of the Season, the club should be looking to build a team around Joao Gomes. The midfielder is another player who rarely has a bad game and will one day reach the top.
Tommy Doyle – Keep
While his transfer has not been confirmed yet, it is very likely that Wolves purchase as they have the option to buy. Tommy Doyle has been consistent in the middle of the park and has a great passing range.
Tawanda Chirewa – Loan
Showed potential in his brief cameos so far. A loan spell to get regular first-team football would do him good.
Boubacar Traore – Keep
Continues to make good cameos off the bench. The midfielder always helps break the tempo of the opposition. Boubacar Traore is a good option to have come on, especially when Wolves are hanging onto a lead.
Jean-Ricner Bellegarde – Keep
While his performances have dipped since signing, Jean-Ricner Bellegarde has rarely played in his favoured position due to injuries. In the next campaign, fans should get a better idea of his abilities.
Joe Hodge – Loan
Another loan move for Joe Hodge next season would help further develop the midfielder.
Luke Cundle – Sell
After an uninspiring loan spell at Stoke, Wolves should let Luke Cundle depart. The midfielder doesn’t have a future in the Wolves team.
Wolves’ attackers – keep or sell

Pedro Neto – Sell
While he is easily Wolves’ best player on his day, it is time for the club to sell their most prized asset. Multiple positions need to be filled in the summer and Pedro Neto could help finance that if he is sold.
The Portuguese international also has a terrible injury record and Wolves cannot afford to have an £80 million player who can only play half a season. With the club set to demand at least £65 million, O’Neil has to accept if this is matched.
Fabio Silva – Sell
Fabio Silva and Wolves just don’t mix. The striker has never found form in an Old Gold shirt and now looks destined to leave in the summer.
Enso Gonzalez – Loan
Despite signing in the summer, Enso Gonzalez is yet to make an appearance for Wolves’ first team. A loan out looks to be a good option for next season.
Sasa Kalajdzic – Sell
O’Neil clearly doesn’t rate the striker and, as a result, sent him out on loan in January. Unfortunately, he is now injured which makes any departure unlikely.
Matheus Cunha – Keep
Obviously, Wolves need to keep Matheus Cunha for the next season. The attacker was on fire until his injury against Brentford. With Cunha still being 24 years old he can still develop further up top.
Hwang Hee-Chan – Keep
Another easy decision. Hwang Hee-Chan finally found form under O’Neil and is currently the club’s top scorer. On top of this, the South Korean also brings a lot of commercial income through his homeland support.
Chiquinho – Keep
After a season away in Portugal, Chiquinho should now be fully fit and ready for first-team action. The winger would be a good option for O’Neil to have throughout the next campaign.
Daniel Podence – Sell
There seems to be no way back for Daniel Podence after he was cast out of the team despite being the club’s top scorer last season. A permanent move away seems to be the sensible choice.
Goncalo Guedes – Sell
Another player who just hasn’t worked out at Molineux. Goncalo Guedes only survived six months before being shipped out on loan. Now at Villarreal, Wolves need to sell him in the summer and try and get some money back.
Nathan Fraser – Loan
After some promising cameos for Wolves, the club needs to send Nathan Fraser out for regular first-team football. If a Championship team comes in for him, Wolves need to let him go so he can develop.
Leon Chiwome – Loan
Like Fraser, Leon Chiwome looks promising. If Wolves are to harness that development, a loan move may be the best option for his long-term future.
