Yerson Mosquera sends message on Instagram as recovery from injury continues

Wolves star Yerson Mosquera has posted on Instagram, as he continues his recovery from a hamstring injury.

The central defender remains on the sidelines, after suffering a severe hamstring injury against Tottenham Hotspur in the Carabao Cup back in September.

It was a cruel blow for Mosquera.

He had just worked his way back from another hamstring injury he picked up in pre-season.

He was all ready to make a big impression, but lasted less than 10 minutes against Spurs.

Wolves confirmed afterwards that Mosquera needed surgery, describing his issue as ‘high grade’.

The young Colombian had looked very promising in pre-season, making the situation all the more frustrating for fans.

Mosquera is expected to be out until January, and the club last week released pictures of the starlet doing gym work.

Mosquera has been fairly quiet since sustaining his latest injury.

Last night, he posted on Instagram for the first time for two months, sending a message to supporters amid his recovery.

He wrote: “Preparing myself with the best energy for the return.”

Yerson Mosquera injury was a huge shame

Hopefully, Mosquera can come back stronger from his injury for Wolves.

It was a cruel blow, especially since he had only just joined the club.

His time will come. For now, he just has to put everything into getting back to full fitness.

He’s got Jonny Castro Otto, who knows all about the frustrations of being sidelined, and Pedro Neto for company, so hopefully he won’t be too dispirited.
