Wolves finally unveiled Jhon Arias as their second signing of the summer transfer window after the arrival of Fer Lopez in June.
Arias completed his medical at the start of this week after Wolves agreed a £19 million transfer with Fluminense and signed a four-year contract.
The 27-year-old bid his farewell to the Brazilian giants on Friday, as the fans applauded Arias on his final game against Cruzeiro.
Remarkably, Arias rejected a mega-money move to Al-Nassr, despite even Cristiano Ronaldo calling him in an attempt to hijack a move.
But it’s always been Arias’ ‘dream’ to play in the Premier League, and Wolves finally have announced their Matheus Cunha replacement.

Yerson Mosquera reacts to Jhon Arias joining Wolves
South American football expert Tim Vickery was left impressed by Arias during his performance against Manchester City at the 2023 Club World Cup, giving fans a flavour of his qualities.
The Colombian possesses incredible strength, low centre of gravity and a turn of pace that helps him quickly scamper away from defenders.
It’s the above attributes that are perfectly suited to the Premier League, and after completing his move to Molineux, international teammate Yerson Mosquera has explained why he can flourish in England’s top flight.
Speaking to Wolves’ official website, he said: “Jhon’s a good person – that’s the first thing to say about him. He’s a really good player, he will help us a lot, and I believe in him. I play with him with the national team and he’s amazing, how he plays, how he gives his life on the pitch, how he loves to play, that is really important.
“I’m really excited for him to come here because it’s really good when you see another Colombian player here. He’s really excited to arrive, because it’s a new challenge. It’s a different league, a different change for him, a big difference.
“He is very strong. He will be stay good here, and I will be helping him if he needs something here, because I’ve had more time here. He wants to enjoy the Premier League, and this club is perfect for him.”

Arias can become an instant hit at Wolves
Arias praised Andre and Joao Gomes before his transfer was finalised, and the diminutive winger can have a similar impact to the Brazilian duo.
Wolves have often struck gold when it comes to signing South American players, as seen with the rise of Cunha and the incredible partnership of Gomes and Andre in midfield.

There’s a high level of aggression, fitness and tenacity that makes them ready-made for England’s top-flight, and Arias proved that with his performances at the Club World Cup.
For just shy of £20 million, Wolves are getting a bargain on paper and someone reaching the prime years of his career.
Those internally at Wolves are already excited about seeing Arias in action, feeling he can elevate those around him and produce the magic required in the absence of Cunha.
