2024/25 will be remembered as the season so many bad things happened at Wolves.
Currently, the club are fighting for their lives, sitting just outside the relegation zone in the Premier League.
Gary O’Neil was sacked in December and replaced by Vitor Pereira, who has now started to struggle and is in need of some late additions in the transfer window.
Mario Lemina lost the captaincy and could be on his way out of the club, and in the last few days there has been lots of speculation about the future of Matheus Cunha.
Wolves fans could be forgiven for just wanting a period where very little happens.
But it just always seems as though there’s something going on – and these days it’s usually something bad.
And now, Leon Chiwome has suffered a serious injury.
Leon Chiwome says he’s suffered an ACL at Wolves

Last night, striker Leon Chiwome took to Instagram to inform supporters of the sad news that he has suffered an ACL injury.
The 19-year-old had not long returned to action after sustaining a serious ankle injury.
Chiwome said via his Instagram Story: “Devastated to stay that I’ve ruptured my ACL and it will bring my season to an end just after coming back from injury.

“Thank you to all the support from everyone up until now. I will be back stronger and trust in God’s plan for me.”
The Wolves U21s played against Crystal Palace on Monday and Chiwome was replaced after 67 minutes by Dani Angel.
Currently, it’s unclear whether the injury happened in this game or in training.
Devastation for Chiwome
This is an absolute nightmare for Chiwome, who had only just returned to action following a serious ankle injury.
He returned in August after a four-month lay-off, and now Chiwome is looking at a lengthy lay-off.
It is truly rotten luck for the 19-year-old, who will have been itching to enjoy a productive season in 2024/25.
In the summer, Matt Hobbs had spoken about sending Chiwome out on loan, but there will obviously now be no chance of that.
Hopefully, Chiwome has a good support system around him as this will now be a tough period for the youngster.
