Many Wolves fans are desperate for the January transfer window after seeing the team make a dreadful start to the 2024/25 season.
Wolves got their first Premier League win of the season against Southampton before the international break, but sit on just six points from 11 games played.
The club are 19th, and Gary O’Neil is still under big pressure.
Fosun are desperate for O’Neil to turn things around, but it’s all about getting points on the board now, and he may not have much longer left if he doesn’t get a good haul in the coming days.
Wolves will make a new centre-back a top priority in January, but we could also see some outgoings.
Goncalo Guedes is a target for Villarreal, and Pablo Sarabia is wanted by Sevilla – but seemingly, the Spaniard won’t be going anywhere.
Pablo Sarabia set to stay at Wolves beyond January

Earlier today it was reported that Sevilla do want Sarabia, but Wolves are keen to retain Sarabia until the end of the season.
Journalist Liam Keen has also spoken about Sarabia on the latest E&S podcast.
When talking about the possibility of a new winger arriving in January, he said: “It would probably depend on a player going out – someone like Guedes.
“Sarabia is in the final year of his contract. He probably won’t go in January if I were to hedge my bets, with him just seeing his contract out instead. And most likely leaving at that stage in the summer.”
Sarabia has been underwhelming for Wolves
There are no two ways about it, Sarabia has been a disappointing signing for Wolves.
Yes, he’s a brilliant technician and creator, and someone who can probably pull off passes that no other Wolves player could.
However, he just doesn’t appear to suit the rigours of the Premier League, and his lack of pace has sometimes felt at odds with the rest of the attacking players.

Gary O’Neil admitted it’s about finding the right moments for Sarabia to play, with his lack of speed making things ‘difficult’ for him.
He arrived with such pedigree, having played for the likes of Paris Saint-Germain and the Spain national team.
Sarabia is Wolves’ highest earner but so far, he’s not lived up to the hype, which is so disappointing considering he cost just £4.4 million.
