Toti Gomesâ disallowed goal for Wolves against Liverpool has been a huge topic of conversation since it happened â and the club have now thrown some shade on TikTok.
Wanderers are having to play Liverpool again in the FA Cup, after the game on Saturday finished 2-2 at Anfield.
Julen Lopeteguiâs side put in a fantastic performance against the holders and could have won the game but for an absolutely farcical situation towards the end.
Toti Gomes scored after turning in Hwang Hee-chanâs shot with a brilliant flick.
That had seemingly put Wolves 3-2 up, and it was the moment of Totiâs professional career.
But the linesman would then flag for offside against Matheus Nunes.
Nunes took the corner, and when the ball came back out to him via Hwangâs head, thatâs when the apparent offside occurred.
It transpired that when the ball left Hwangâs head, Nunes was not in shot of any cameras.
With there being no proof of Nunesâ positioning, the on-field decision could not be overturned. VAR decided to uphold the decision.
It was absolutely ridiculous, and Wolves are rightfully contacting the PGMOL for an explanation.

The club released the following TikTok earlier this evening, featuring the caption âAnyone got another camera angle? Asking for a mate #VARâ.
