Wolves could be looking for a replacement for Ruben Neves this summer – and they might find a good one in Dani Ceballos.
Wanderers fans are facing up to the very real possibility of Neves departing Molineux after six years.

His contract expires in the summer of 2024. So the next transfer window is Wolves’ chance to get decent money for the playmaker.
We have seen in recent weeks that there is potential for Wolves to be just fine without the Portuguese maestro.
Mario Lemina has been a top-class signing so far. And Joao Gomes looks to be an extremely exciting prospect.
There’s also other others like Boubacar Traore, Matheus Nunes and Joao Hodge. And the likes of Matheus Cunha, Daniel Podence and Pablo Sarabia can all play in central areas.
It was reported last week that Wolves are preparing for life after Neves.
Wolves will really struggle to replace him. But they will do their level best to do so, and one man who has been linked in recent weeks is Ceballos.

The Spaniard is a player Lopetegui reportedly likes, and his contract is expiring this summer.
It’s possible he could be moving on. And his performance against Celta Vigo on Saturday was perhaps evidence that Wolves should be trying to get near the front of the queue.
According to Sofascore data, he ran the show, completing 82/87 (94%) passes. He had 102 touches, meaning he was heavily involved for Real. All nine of his attempted long balls found a man successfully. Long balls of course, are a staple of Neves’ game back at Wolves.
A quick search of Ceballos’ name on social media reveals many Real fans are loving what he’s bringing to the table right now.
Wolves will struggle to replace Ruben Neves but Dani Ceballos would be a cracking addition
When Neves goes, Wolves will lose their best passer of the ball.
If they are looking to bring in someone with a really good range like him, then Ceballos would not be a bad option at all.
There have been some reports about Real now wanting to get an extension sorted for Ceballos, which is telling. He has clearly stepped up recently.

Wolves may need to get to work now if they want him.
Ceballos, of course, has already had a spell in England, spending two years on loan at Arsenal.
The fact he’s already experienced playing in the Premier League surely makes him someone to strongly consider.
