Wolves have some top quality talent in their academy, but they are now set to lose a gem.
Midfielder Luke Rawlings has caught the eyes of coaches at Molineux, and Rawlings could become an option for Vitor Pereira at some point.
Mateus Mane is highly rated at multiple Premier League clubs, and at Wolves his teammates are also big fans of the talent.
Last season, Pereira said this about Mane, “He’s a talented player, I believe he has a big future at our club and I hope to give him the opportunity to play very soon,” showing how highly those at Wolves rate him.
There are as many as ten academy players Wolves coaches have high hopes for, including Rawlings and Mane, but now one academy gem has left the club, confirming his exit on social media.
Jashayde Greenwood confirms he is leaving Wolves

Jashayde Greenwood is a top talent, and once netted a first-half hat-trick for Wolves under-16s against Middlesbrough.
He was subbed off at half-time and later came off the bench for Wolves under-18s against Boro’s under-18s, scoring again in a 2-2 draw on the same day.
The prospect certainly has talent, and his six caps for England at youth level show he is highly rated.
However, he has now announced that he is leaving Wolves via his Instagram.
The 16-year-old said, “After two unforgettable years at my football club, I am now moving on and stepping into my next chapter. It’s been such an amazing experience and I am grateful for every moment.
“Thank you to all my teammates, my coaches and all the staff who have played a part in shaping my growth and development on and off the pitch. I’m truly humbled and thankful to you all. Thank you Wolves”
Greenwood will have no shortage of suitors, and his next club has already been rumoured.
Chelsea are looking to snap up Jashayde Greenwood
Jashayde Greenwood’s next move looks set to be in the country’s capital with Chelsea rumoured to be the youth striker’s destination.
This will be a major loss for Wolves as the 16-year-old recently made the step of playing in Premier League under-18s matches for the Old Gold.
It is not the first instance of Wolves and Chelsea being involved in a youth prospect, as the Molineux side snapped up a Chelsea gem last summer.
It is sad news for Wolves, but fans and coaches will no doubt be wishing Greenwood all the best for the future of his career.
