Wolves picked up three more points in the Premier League by beating West Ham United – but there was one downside of last night’s victory.
Jorgen Strand Larsen scored the only goal of the game to send Wolves 12 points clear of the relegation zone.
Wolves played really well in the first-half last night.
But the second-half was much more of a battle, with the contest becoming very scrappy.
Thankfully, Wolves were able to ride out the game and hold on for three points, and there were scenes of jubilation at the end as Wolves players mobbed Vitor Pereira.
Wolves face Ipswich Town next in the Premier League. They play tonight against Bournemouth, and it remains to be seen if the gap will still be 12 points come the weekend.
But Wolves are in a great position, although there was one downside to last night’s win.

Vitor Pereira and Luis Miguel to serve touchline bans for Wolves against Ipswich

Referee Tony Harrington has come in for some criticism for his performance last night.
He’s been accused of being inconsistent, leading to the game lacking flow.
He brandished his yellow card several times last night, with three going to Wolves players – Andre, Jose Sa and Joao Gomes and Matt Doherty. Konstantinos Mavropanos and Niclas Fullkrug were booked for West Ham.
But there were also, frustratingly, yellow cards for Pereira and his assistant Luis Miguel.
Miguel was booked for remonstrating after what looked like a clear foul on Doherty in the second-half.
And Pereira received his yellow card at half-time from Harrington. Both will now serve a touchline ban, as per journalist Liam Keen.
Uncharted waters for Wolves
It is unclear what exactly Pereira was booked for, but presumably he took issue with a decision Harrington made.
He’ll now serve a one-game touchline ban – his first as Wolves manager.
That means uncharted waters for the players this weekend at Ipswich, and it will be interesting to see the affect it has on them.

What has been clear since Pereira came in at Wolves is that he is a big presence, and someone who can get very animated on the sidelines. So to not have him on the touchline against Ipswich is not ideal.
The Portuguese has really impressed since coming at Wolves. It was also claimed recently that Pereira has impressed with his conduct behind the scenes, as well as his tactics.
Hopefully, it shouldn’t matter too much since Wolves have now carved out a big gap.
