Rob Edwards has delivered his first press conference as Wolves head coach ahead of taking on Crystal Palace on Saturday.
The Old Gold are looking to turn around their dismal start to the season, which has left them on just two points after 11 games.
The new Wolves head coach will want to have as many fully fit members of his squad available, with Crystal Palace being quite the tough opponent.
However, that is not the case with Edwards giving an update on the bill of health across his roster.
Wolves fans, how do you see Rob Edwards getting on in his first game against Crystal Palace?
Rob Edwards confirms three Wolves players ruled out against Crystal Palace
Rodrigo Gomes was always going to be ruled out, with the wide player expected to be out for four months following surgery on a groin injury.
Matt Doherty’s injury is also not a new one, but there was hope that the Irishman would have recovered heading into the game against Crystal Palace.
That is not the case, with the full-back not available for selection.
Dan Bentley has now also been confirmed to be missing Saturday’s game at Molineux with an ankle issue, but with the Englishman being third-choice goalkeeper, it will not be much of a loss.
Rob Edwards is essentially heading into his first game in charge with a mostly fit, full squad of options, a trait of the squad he will appreciate, with Wolves having one of the best injury records in the Premier League.
The Old Gold will be hoping to put out a performance to be proud of, and Edwards has already drilled his core principles into the squad.
The match kicks off at 3PM GMT on Saturday, and Molineux will be hoping for a famous result to start the new era.
