Wolves stars react as Pedro Neto drops big injury return hint on social media

Wolves star Pedro Neto has dropped a massive hint over his return from injury on social media and his teammates have been reacting.

Pedro Neto has been out injured since October 28th when he pulled up during a 2-2 draw with Newcastle at Molineux. Initially, the injury seemed worrying given his history, but a month on he is close to a return.

Last week, Neto was declared not ready by Gary O’Neil for the Fulham game on Monday. While Arsenal probably also comes too soon and the expectation is that his return could potentially be December 9th against Nottingham Forest.

But ahead of that, Neto has provided an update of his own which his Wolves teammates have been replying to.

Pedro Neto sends injury update

Taking to Instagram, Neto sent an injury update out to his 220k followers.

With a picture of him on the pitch placing the ball for a corner he captioned three emojis which tell us all we need to know.

He added a sand timer which seems to have expired with all the sand at the bottom. Along with this, he had a football and a heart which means his message effectively reads that he will be back to playing soon.

In response, Nelson Semedo told Neto that he is “Patiently waiting”, for the winger to return.

Joao Gomes replied with a message of support, saying, “Let’s go machine.”

Lastly, Matheus Cunha wrote, “Vamos Mofio”, which translates to “Let’s go mofio”, which we can only assume is a nickname.

To see so much support for Wolves’ star man ahead of his potential return is great and makes us think that upon his return he should keep up the incredible form he showed earlier this season.

Pedro Neto fitness latest

The last update we got on the situation regarding Neto’s return was last week from O’Neil when he said: “Pedro won’t make Monday. He’s got a little bit more work to do. Pedro will stay with the physios and fitness staff for a bit longer.

“There’s no exact time frame, but on Monday he won’t be available. Hopefully, it’s weeks. It’s hard because there’ll be tests done, he goes for other check-ups and scans and you’re sort of guided by them, how quickly he’s healing, but he’s healing very well.”

That being said, with O’Neil’s press conference for the Arsenal game, we should receive further updates and possibly even a definite game which he will be ready for.
