BBC pundit Garth Crooks hailed Pablo Sarabia following his ‘memorable’ goal against Tottenham Hotspur, and selected the Wolves man in his latest Premier League Team of the Week.
Wolves bounced back from the frustrating defeat to Sheffield United by staging a late comeback against Spurs at Molineux.
After falling behind early doors to a goal from Brennan Johnson, Wolves plugged away and played some lovely football.
But the finishing for a large part of the game was wayward. The game was crying out for someone to step up with some real quality.
Pablo Sarabia was the man who provided it, as Matheus Cunha clipped a ball over the defence for him to lash in at the near post.
It was a stunning goal that very much impressed Crooks…
Garth Crooks names Pablo Sarabia in his latest Premier League Team of the Week after stunning goal vs Spurs

It was probably Sarabia’s best moment for Wolves since signing for the club in January for just over £4 million from Paris Saint-German.
It hasn’t quite happened for him at Molineux yet, but this was a reminder of his talent.
Sarabia showed incredible technical quality to score in the way he did. You will not see many better examples of a player taking one touch to control a ball and then finishing clinically.
Sarabia then showed his technical quality again with a perfectly executed through ball for Mario Lemina to score the winner.
Crooks said (BBC Sport): “The quality of the Wolves equaliser by Sarabia was memorable but their winner should have been avoided. Trying to hold a line in your own penalty area in the last minutes of a game is madness.
“You track your man into the box which Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg failed to do. Meanwhile, Ben Davies and Eric Dier never even saw the danger.”
Difficulty of the chance cannot be overstated
It is a shame that Crooks cannot just let it be all about Sarabia, because it was one of those goals where the opposition surely just has to hold their hands up. It was that good.
This was a very difficult chance for Sarabia, whom Cunha branded ‘a big part of the group’ after the win.
While it was a nice ball over the top from Cunha, the Spaniard still had an awful lot to do. The control on his weak foot was absolutely perfect, and the finish at the near post was just exquisite. Joe Cole said right after that ‘only quality players can do that’.
You have to have technical quality in abundance to score the goal Sarabia did.
It was just an amazing goal and one that will undoubtedly be on the Goal of the Month shortlist for November.
