Mario Lemina had been set to play for Gabon over the international break, but it is now being suggested this will not be the case.
Wolves drew 1-1 with the Reds, and Lemina was one of the standout performers on the day at the City Ground.
Lemina made an incredible 10 tackles in the game, with no player making more in any matches in the top four leagues in England over the weekend.
Lemina had been due to feature for Gabon over the international break, with the Panthers set to take on Morocco and then the Central African Republic in their AFCON qualifying campaign. Currently, Gabon sit second in Group F with nine points from a possible 12, five behind Ivory Coast.
But after recently being called up by his country, it would seem Lemina may now not be featuring.
Wolves captain Mario Lemina withdraws from Gabon squad with apparent injury

It has been reported by L’Union that Lemina has withdrawn from the Gabon squad due to an injury he has picked up.
The publication say that his absence is ‘confirmed’, presenting a headache for manager Thierry Mouyouma ahead of the game with Morocco.
Unfortunately, not a great deal more information is provided. Just that Lemina’s absence will really be felt because his physical impact and box-to-box style are ‘unparalleled’.
It is possible that Lemina’s injury is linked to when he went down against Forest in the 83rd minute on Saturday.
He went down awkwardly after clearing the ball for a corner from a cross from Neco Williams, and appeared to get his leg caught in the turf.
Wolves have yet to make any comment about Lemina amid this claim from L’Union.
Fingers crossed it’s nothing too bad
This will be concerning news for Wolves fans, with Lemina having obviously established himself as one of the team’s best players since his arrival in January 2023.
The 31-year-old, who was named as the new club captain after Max Kilman left, is so important to the way Wolves play and has been such an integral player for Gary O’Neil so far. Indeed, Dave Edwards hailed him as ‘magnificent’ last season.
It would be a nightmare for Wolves to potentially lose such an influential player for an extended period so everyone will have everything crossed that this is nothing too serious.
Wolves have already lost Boubacar Traore to a serious knee injury, which prevented him from making a loan move to Feyenoord.
As much as Traore would probably love some company in the treatment room, Wolves cannot afford to have Lemina in there as well.
