All the current top Wolves stories including, which star could change position, Bundesliga striker target and a Daniel Podence update.
Position change for Wolves star
Wolves are amidst an injury crisis in their attacking areas. Matheus Cunha has been out for almost a month while Hwang Hee-Chan will be out for six weeks.
On top of this, Pedro Neto was forced off the field at half-time alongside Jose Sa in the 3-0 defeat to Newcastle.
With Gary O’Neil being potentially short on players in attack, it has been suggested that Rayan Ait-Nouri is pushed further forward to help reinforce these areas.

Wolves eye ‘complete’ striker

Despite the injuries, Wolves still need a striker. The club have few players who are truly effective in the position.
Players such as Jean-Ricner Bellegarde have also been forced to play out of their natural position to accommodate the lack of depth up top. As a result, bringing in a striker to Molineux is top of O’Neil’s wish list for the 2024/25 season.
One name linked so far is Wolfsburg striker Jonas Wind who already has 17 goal contributions this season.

Daniel Podence update

One attacker who has been cast out from the club is Daniel Podence. The winger was Wolves’ top scorer last season but was sent out on loan to Greek side Olympiacos for the entirety of the current campaign.
In Greece, the Portuguese international has been doing wonders and has helped his side win seven consecutive games. In his last match, he was also incredible and was the star of the show.
