Wolverhampton Wanderers star Adama Traore is a nightmare to defend against.
He may have struggled with his end product again this season – although the 0 goals, 0 assists statistic is a bit of a red herring – but his ability to go past defenders is most definitely not in doubt.
Traore is an absolute dream to watch for fans, as much as he is probably a nightmare for defenders to actually come up against.

Recently Traore has started doing something kind of unusual before games get underway.
The Spaniard now lathers up his arms with oil, which has certainly been a talking point on social media.

Speaking about the reasons for doing this, Traore told DAZN: “I had problems with my shoulder and there were teams that tried to grab me to make my runs and my game difficult.
“The games passed and the physios and the doctor decided that we had to find a solution for this problem. We finally tried the oil and it worked… and it still works.
It isn’t just fans that talk about the oil – £18 million man Traore (BBC Sport) claims even defenders ask him about it.
He added: “There are many defenders who ask me ‘what is it that you have on your arm?’ Because they see in the first actions that they try to grab my arm and it slips. There they realise that I have something on my arms.”
Traore must fine-tune his game
Traore is blessed with the most incredible combination of pace and power.
Add this new oil tactic into the mix and players simply haven’t been able contain him, as evidenced by his recent dribbling statistics.
It’s just a shame that right now, the end product is rarely there.
We know it can be there, as he demonstrated it quite often in 2019/20.
Perhaps once Raul Jimenez returns to the starting XI, Traore’s output will improve again and his confidence will return.
