Wolves have beaten Watford 4-0 in the Premier League tonight.
Bruno Lage was looking to get things back on track after a bad past couple of weeks.
Defeats to Arsenal, West Ham United and Crystal Palace have set Wanderers back, and tonight is about responding in a big way.
And Wolves got off to a flying start against their opponents at Molineux.
Wanderers were 3-0 up inside 21 minutes, with Watford making things far too easy for the hosts.
Raul Jimenez, back in the starting XI after being on the bench the past couple of games, opened the scoring after good work by Hwang Hee-chan.
There was then an own goal forced by Rayan Ait-Nouri.
And then, Daniel Podence was on hand to score in an empty net after a bizarre bit of play from Ben Foster.
The Hornets goalkeeper took a heavy tough from a backpass, and then completely botched his clearance into the path of the Portugal international.
Podence still had work to do on his weaker foot, but made no mistake with the lofted finish.
Watching it back, it was a seriously strange clearance by Foster, who may or may not have been trying to find a man in the middle with a pass.
He certainly made a hash off it, and he was spared no mercy by the official Wolves Twitter account, which wrote: “Ben Foster won’t want to watch that back on his GoPro.”
That of course references the fact that Foster has a popular YouTube channel called ‘Ben Foster – The Cycling GK’.
He uploads vlogs which include footage from a GoPro that he places in the net when he plays.
He certainly will not want to watch his mistake back any time soon.
