All the current top Wolves stories including, a significant boost for European hopes, FA Cup preview and Matheus Cunha injury update.
Wolves’ European hopes boosted
Under the guidance of Gary O’Neil, Wolves are well within the European race. A 2-1 victory over Fulham last time out put the club up to ninth, two points off ninth.
This is an incredible feat for the club, who could well be returning to Europe for the first time since the 2019/20 season.
Now, after recent results, Wolves are in an even better position to qualify for Europe thanks to the efforts of other English clubs.

FA Cup quarter-final preview

Wolves have a fantastic chance of returning making another Wembley appearance this season. After their 1-0 victory over Brighton, O’Neil’s side were rewarded with another home game against Coventry at Molineux.
However, the Championship side will make it far from easy. Wolves have multiple injuries to the first team and Coventry will no doubt do anything to ensure they have a chance of qualifying.
Multiple-time FA Cup winner Cesc Fabregas has previewed the game and outlined three things Wolves must do if they are to progress to the semi-finals.

Matheus Cunha – injury update

One man whom Wolves have missed dearly is Cunha. The Brazilian was one fire at the start of 2024 and scored a hat-trick past Chelsea in a 4-2 win.
However, the attacker has been out of the side since the 2-0 defeat to Brentford when he was forced off with an injury. After initial fears that he would be out for the season, it now looks as if Cunha may be returning a lot sooner than expected.
