The Molineux outfit have a dismal record when it comes to the opening day, racking up only one win since returning to the Premier League.
All six of Wolves’ last six opening day matches have come away from home, but that will change this season as Molineux plays host to Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City.
When do Wolves play Aston Villa?
Wolves secured an impressive 2-0 win over rivals Aston Villa back in February, and Pereira’s men will be hoping to repeat that feat this season.
The two sides will first square off on the 29th November when Wolves travel to Villa Park, followed by Aston Villa’s visit to Molineux on the 28th February.
Who do Wolves play on Boxing Day?
Boxing Day served up a late Christmas treat for Wolves fans last season, with Vitor Pereira’s side defeating Manchester United in a famous 2-0 win at Molineux.
This year, however, there will be no Boxing Day fixtures with gameweek 18 expected to take place on the 27th December, with Wolves set to travel to Anfield to face champions Liverpool.
Who is Wolves’ final Premier League fixture?
Wolves’ winless run on the final day continued back in May, as Molineux played host to a 1-1 draw against Brentford.
