A number of Wolves fans have reacted on Twitter to Nuno Espirito Santo’s LG Performance of the Week award win.
Nuno won the award for his team’s incredible 2-0 win against Manchester City at the Etihad on October 6th.
The win was courtesy of two excellent goals from Adama Traore and heroic performances from the entire pack.
And Nuno has celebrated the award in the typical fashion that has made him the most charming manager in the Premier League.

“A gentleman of the highest order”
The legendary Sir Alex Ferguson and others on the League Managers Association’s panel have rewarded Nuno with the LG Performance of the Week award. This honour was bestowed upon the Portuguese for Wolves’ ‘shocking’ 2-0 win against Manchester City at the Etihad.
While the win was good, the most impressive aspect was that it came only three days after a 1-0 win against Besiktas in Istanbul. The pack gave their all in Turkey and then did so again in Manchester less than 72-hours later.
Nuno and Wolves thoroughly deserve the win for this amazing recovery and back-to-back wins. And, in typical fashion, Nuno has embodied the saying “there’s no I in team.”
Per the Wolves website, Nuno has dedicated the award to the club’s incredible chefs and canteen staff. This has resulted in a lot of deserved praise online.
This is what makes Nuno special – he could have stuck the award in his office but no he knows that other’s helped him earn it and they deserve the praise… Leadership!!!

Nuno: A gentleman of the highest order. He knows the true meaning of TEAM spirit, so many managers talk about this, but no one backs it up like Nuno does. Legend. pic.twitter.com/yq9SM3ZKex
