Jurgen Klopp shocked the footballing world today by announcing his decision to step down as Liverpool manager at the end of the season.
During his time at Liverpool, Jurgen Klopp has won almost every trophy he can get his hands on.
From the Champions League in 2019 to the Premier League title a year later, Klopp has become synonymous with the Reds over the past nine years and the decision he’s taken to step down as manager has been met with an outpour of emotions.
The man delivered some of the best football supporters have ever seen at Liverpool and no one of a Reds persuasion could have prepared for this announcement.
While it’s sad for the majority, Wolves are one of several teams who will be happy to see the back of him.
They’ve notoriously struggled against Klopp’s sides and this is reflected by their record against him.

Wolves record against Jurgen Klopp
Although Wolves have beaten a Liverpool side managed by the enigmatic German twice in the FA Cup, registering victories in 2017 and 2019, their Premier League record is disastrous.
In 11 top-flight meetings, the Midlands side have lost on 10 occasions, winning just once.
This was a 3-0 triumph last season as a Joel Matip own goal and strikes from Craig Dawson and Ruben Neves secured their first-ever points against Klopp in the league.
So, why does this announcement have a huge bearing on Wolves? Well, the German’s last match in charge of Liverpool is against Wolves at Anfield on May 19th.
Jurgen Klopp’s last Premier League match in charge of Liverpool is against Wolves
Over a decade ago, Sir Alex Ferguson stepped down as manager of Manchester United after 27 years in charge and his last game was against West Bromwich Albion.
The Red Devils threw away a three-goal lead at the Hawthorns to draw 5-5, ending Fergusons 1500th and final match in charge without a victory.
At this point, though, United already had the title sewn up while it remains to be seen whether Klopp can end his Anfield career by securing his second Premier League triumph.
Liverpool are currently five points clear of Manchester City at the top of the table, but Pep Guardiola’s side do have a game in hand.
There is a strong possibility that the title race could go down to the final day, and if it does, Wolves will have the chance to spoil the party.
It is, however, going to be harder than ever for Wanderers to secure a victory. Anfield will be a cauldron of noise and Liverpool supporters will be desperate for Klopp to end an illustrious career at the club on a high.
