It has been a season of misery for Wolves and supporters, and they have broken countless records and achievements that hold a negative connotation.
Now, after losing 2-0 to Crystal Palace, there are even more of those popping up.
Rob Edwards has a momentous job to do, and if Wolves survive relegation, it will go down as one of the great feats of an Old Gold manager in recent history.
We learned quite a bit from Edwards’ first game in charge, and his desire was one of the things that could not be missed.
Even if Wolves do go down, it will not be his fault, but there is one record that he could help the club avoid getting.
How many points will Wolves end up on this season?
Wolves are now just three games away from the longest winless run in their history

Rob Edwards has an important few weeks coming up, and fans will be hoping to finally witness a Premier League win.
It has been some time since the Old Gold faithful got to celebrate three points, and that has also left the club in danger of setting a new club record.
Of course, as has been the story of this season, it will not be an achievement they will proudly talk about.
Currently, the Molineux side are on a stretch of 16 games without a win in the Premier League, which counts the final four matches of last season, and with the form they are in, they could very well set a new winless streak this season.
Wolves’ longest ever winless run was from December 1984 to April 1985, when they went 19 games without a win in the league.
That means in just four more matches, the club could have a new all-time record.
However, despite this glaring issue facing the club, Tolu Arokodare is still optimistic.

Are you confident Rob Edwards will help Wolves avoid relegation?
Wolves’ next fixtures make breaking that streak look extremely possible
Matching, or even beating, that streak does look quite possible when looking at the fixtures, and that will not be news fans want to hear.
But it is the reality.
Wolves have Aston Villa away from home, which is no easy fixture, before hosting a Nottingham Forest side that just beat the champions Liverpool 3-0 at Anfield.
It is not a good time to play Sean Dyche’s side.

After that, it is Manchester United who are looking much stronger this campaign than in previous seasons.
And finally, the team that could deliver the final blow and hand Wolves a new record is title challengers Arsenal.
Things are looking bleak, but who knows, Rob Edwards could spring a surprising result.
The return of Emmanuel Agbadou to form is certainly a boost for those prospects.
