Wolves recorded a fantastic win over Aston Villa at the weekend – and the club’s TikTok account has cheekily poked fun at John McGinn and Ezri Konsa.
Wanderers put in a thrilling display, despite missing Ruben Neves and Raul Jimenez, to win 2-1 at Molineux.
Jonny Castro Otto scored for the second game running.
And there was then an own goal from Ashley Young after a brilliant cross from Fernando Marcal.
Ollie Watkins pulled a goal back via the penalty spot late in the second-half after a collision with Jose Sa.
It was arguably a harsh decision, but Villa capitalised to set up a nervy finish.
But Wolves held out for all three points this time, and are keeping their hopes of European football alive.
Wolves played some really good football at times on Saturday.
But there were also some moments some Villa players would not like to look back on.
Unfortunately for them, the Wolves TikTok admin has struck again.
They have posted a clip of Wolves’ first goal on Saturday, in which two Villa players – McGinn and Konsa – lose their footing in the build-up.
The edited clip features some slow motion as both take a tumble, with some incessant laughter accompanying.
All good fun as Wolves get cheeky on TikTok
It is a cheeky post from Wolves, but hilarious nonetheless.
It’s great to see the club dabbling in a bit of harmless banter such as this.
If McGinn and Konsa catch wind of it, hopefully they take it in good spirits. Although if they have, it’s possible it could fuel them for the next meeting between the clubs next season.
