Wolves striker Renat Dadashov is spending the season on loan in Portugal with Tondela.
Last night, they travelled to face Rio Ave in the quarter-finals of the Portuguese Cup.
Dadashov was on the bench for the game, which finished 0-0 in 90 minutes and went to extra time.
With five minutes of extra time elapsed, Dadashov was brought on in place of Daniel Anjos and it took him just one minute to make an impact.
As you can see in the video below, he raced onto a looped through ball before lobbing it over the onrushing goalkeeper to win the game.
After the game, Dadashov told Tondela’s official website: “We knew from the beginning that it was going to be a difficult game, because it was played away from home against a good team.
“But we were patient, and luckily I ended up scoring the first time I touched the ball. Football is just that, I thank my teammates because without them I would not have scored this goal.
“We are a team, we are a family and now we are in the semi-finals. We will now have two more games, one at home and one away, we will certainly do our best to reach the final, we will see what the future will bring us.”
In the last four, Tondela will face Portimonense or Mafra, depending on the outcome of their quarter-final tonight.
The first leg takes place between 1 and 3 March, with the return happening between 19 and 21 April. Sporting and Porto are the other semi-finalists.

Dadashov has played in every one of Tondela’s games so far this season, starting ten in the league and coming on as a substitute in the other seven.
In those games, he has scored two goals and laid on another two goals.
He has been a substitute in every game of their cup run, and last night was the first time he has scored but what a time to do it.
Tondela now have a real chance to make the final and set up a meeting with one of the big boys of Portuguese football and Dadashov will hope to play his part once again.
