Wolves take on Southampton tomorrow, and a potentially difficult game awaits.
The Saints have started 2020/21 in impressive fashion, and are currently sitting fifth in the Premier League table on 16 points.
Ralph Hasenhuttl and his side have come a long way since being destroyed 9-0 by Leicester City last term, and this could be a tricky game for Wolves.
Following the international break, Nuno may be forced to make some changes to his starting XI, and it will be interesting to see who features in the final third.
The go-to trio in recent weeks has been Pedro Neto, Daniel Podence and Raul Jimenez, but there has been quite a bit of clamour for Adama Traore to come back into the side.
That is something that Wolves legend Steve Bull would like to see.
Writing for the Express & Star, he said: “Adama Traore might get a start and it would be great to see him, having not been able to agree on a new deal yet, go out there and remind us what he is all about.
“He should be really chomping at the bit after several weeks on the bench, so let’s see him put in the graft.”
Adama’s time to shine?
It’d be a bold call from Nuno to drop one of Neto or Podence, especially with neither player exerting themselves too much over the international break (Podence didn’t feature at all for Portugal, Neto got 45 minutes against Andorra).
But the manager may just wish to spring a surprise on Southampton, and as Bull says, £43,000-a-week star Traore (Spotrac) may be itching to impress having found minutes hard to come by of late.
