Wolves face Chelsea in the Carabao Cup on the 29th of October at Molineux, and the away side are still sweating on the return of their talisman Cole Palmer.
The Chelsea star has only started three games in all competitions for the Blues this season due to ongoing groin problems.
For Wolves, while Premier League results have been far from what they would want, the results in the League Cup have been positive.

A comeback win against West Ham, followed by an impressive performance vs Everton, has put the Old Gold in the round of 16 for the fourth time in 12 years.
Chelsea are a tough opponent, and their strength was recently on display as they came out 2-1 winners against current Premier League champions Liverpool.
Now, it has been revealed whether Palmer could be in action when Chelsea travel to Wolverhampton.

Cole Palmer looks set to miss Carabao Cup showdown vs Wolves
Cole Palmer’s groin injury is looking likely to sideline him for the rest of the month, with a return planned for early November.
The update comes from journalist Kieran Gill, and it means that the Englishman is set to miss Chelsea’s cup match against Wolves.
Gill says, “We are looking at November as the likeliest return for Palmer.”
It is no doubt a boost for the Old Gold, as Palmer is one of the most talented players in English football, but there was always the possibility that, even if fit, he would not have started anyway.
Chelsea have played a lot of football due to their participation in the Club World Cup, and they have been known to rest key players in cup competitions.
Just last season, Enzo Maresca kept Palmer out of the Conference League league phase squad to provide him with ample rest.
However, Chelsea still have plenty of talent in their squad even without the 23-year-old, and that will make progressing in the cup all the more difficult for Vitor Pereira.
It could also be a good chance for a Wolves youth prospect to make an appearance.
A good League Cup run can boost confidence in the Wolves squad
A win in the League Cup against a team of Chelsea’s calibre would provide a huge boost to the confidence and momentum of Vitor Pereira’s side.
At the moment, there are not many positives to take from their Premier League position, but giving fans the dream of a cup run can no doubt provide a lift to morale.
The last time Wolves progressed to the quarter-finals of the Carabao Cup was back in 2022/2023, when they narrowly lost to Nottingham Forest on penalties.
The hope will be that they go past Chelsea and then take a step further than in recent history.
Wolves fans are allowed to dream.
