Wolves injury news ahead of Manchester United
Pereira delivered injury updates on several key players on Friday.
The Wolves manager revealed three players are facing late fitness tests. Jean-Ricner Bellegarde, Matt Doherty and Hwang Hee-chan are all doubts.
“Bellegarde, Doherty and Hee Chan [Hwang], they are trying to come back, Pereira told Wolves.
“They don’t have serious injuries, but they are trying to come back to help us in the game, and we’ll see. We have one more training tomorrow and I must decide and make those decisions tomorrow.”
Sam Johnstone and Pedro Lima are definitely ruled out, though.
“They are training [with the fitness coaches], ” he added.
“Sam is not training with the team because he still has a small problem, an old problem, that he’s tried to manage, but we’ve had a conversation that it is better to clean the problem and clean the injury and then come back. Pedro is not working with the team yet, but I think he will come back in a few days.”
Sasa Kalajdzic (knee), Yerson Mosquera (knee), Leon Chiwone (knee) and Enso Gonzalez (knee) are all also out.
Predicted Wolves lineup to face Manchester United
As a result of the uncertainty surrounding Bellegarde, Doherty and Hwang, Pereira may not be able to finalise his starting lineup until closer to the final whistle.
One player who is likely to feature is Matheus Cunha. The Brazilian marked his comeback against Spurs with a goal last weekend and looks in good shape to play again.
After scoring five goals in his last four appearances, Jorgen Strand Larsen is nailed on to keep his place.
Joao Gomes, Andre and Marshall Munetsi will also play with the only change in defence likely to see Santiago Buenos come in for Doherty.
Predicted XI: Sa; Bueno, Agbadou, Toti Gomes, Rayan Ait-Nouri, Nelson Semedo; Joao Gomes, Andre; Marshall Munetsi, Matheus Cunha; Jorgen Strand Larsen.
