After a successful first season under Gary O’Neil where the club avoided a relegation battle, the Wolves manager now has a full pre-season to mould his squad.
With the upcoming Premier League season Wolves’ seventh straight in the top division, there is hope they can make another push for the Europa League.
In preparation for the new campaign, this article contains every key date you need to know about Wolves’ 2024/25 season.
When does the summer transfer window open?
Wolves will officially be able to conduct business by signing or selling players from Friday, June 14, 2024.

When is transfer deadline day?
The summer transfer window will be open for over two months before closing on Friday, August 30.
The Premier League changed their deadline day to match that of the other top European leagues.
Previously, the Premier League ended their summer transfer window before the campaign started but this was reversed.
When are the Premier League fixtures released?
Wolves’ fixtures for the 2024/25 Premier League season will be released on Tuesday, June 18, at 9 am.
When is Wolves’ pre-season tour?
Wolves will be flying out to the United States to prepare for the upcoming campaign. Their first fixture will be on July 27 before finishing off the tour on July 31.

When does the Premier League start?
The 2024/25 Premier League season will get underway on the weekend of August 17, 2024.
The European Championship in the upcoming summer means that the competition is starting later than last year.
International breaks
There will be four international breaks across the season. They will be:
- September 2-10
- October 7-15
- November 11-19
- March 17-25
When do Wolves enter the Carabao Cup?
Wolves will once again enter the Carabao Cup in the second round of the competition after failing to achieve European football.
Gary O’Neil’s side will begin their cup journey on either August 27/28.
When is the FA Cup third round?
The dates are yet to be confirmed for when the FA Cup will take place.
The competition will have a new look to it for the 2024/25 campaign with replays being scrapped for the first round onwards.
When does the January transfer window open?
Wolves did little business in the last winter window but will have a chance to make up for this blunder from January 1, 2025.
When does the winter transfer window close?
The January window will be open until Monday, February 3, 2025.
When is the final day of the 2024/25 Premier League season?
The final round of Premier League fixtures will be held on Sunday, May 25, 2025.
