Wolves have made one of the signings of the season in Jose Sa in the eyes of Sky Sports.

The broadcaster has today published a feature taking a look at some of the best newcomers to the Premier League.

The other stars acknowledged are Aaron Ramsdale, Conor Gallagher, Takehiro Tomiyasu, Emmanuel Dennis and Tino Livramento.

Sa has been nothing short of a revelation for Wolves this season.

The stopper came in as a replacement for Rui Patricio, with many fans skeptical about the goalkeeping change.

Although Patricio had dipped slightly last season, the consensus was that he was still a good quality goalkeeper.

Eyebrows were definitely raised when the club announced his sale, with Sa coming in shortly after.

But there are now no lingering reservations about Sa, who has been outstanding for Wolves.

He has been a major reason for the club having a defence which, at this point, boasts the third-best defensive record in the Premier League.

Sa has seriously impressed with his shot-stopping, command of his area and distribution.

While he has had a couple of dicey moments, the 28-year-old has been largely excellent and without doubt one of the best players in his position.

Sa really has enjoyed a phenomenal start.

He has actually gone under the radar a little, given Wolves games have not exactly been goal-fests this season.

But it’s partly because of him that that’s been the case.

It takes a lot to beat Sa, and Wolves fans are absolutely loving him both on and off the pitch.

He signed for just £6.8 million, which is simply outrageous value, and it is good to see him slowly getting recognition from beyong Molineux for his contributions.
