Wolves fans have certainly been exhilarated watching Jackson Tchatchoua in full flight – and the defender has now revealed why he is so fast.
Wolves snapped up Jackson Tchatchoua from Hellas Verona in the summer in a deal worth around £10 million.
It has been a steady start so far for the Cameroon international, who has made seven appearances in old gold – three of which have been starts.
He appears to be ahead of Ki-Jana Hoever in the pecking order.
But Tchatchoua is still yet to fully establish himself as the number one pick, with Matt Doherty and Rodrigo Gomes both options, and Hugo Bueno has also even played on the right side.
Ideally, he will soon play his way into form and keep his place in the starting XI – and that searing pace of his can help create some real problems.

Jackson Tchatchoua shares why he thinks he is so fast

Wolves have had their fair share of speedsters over the years.
Molineux has played host to the likes of Pedro Neto, Daniel Podence, Nelson Semedo and Adama Traore, and fans have enjoyed seeing them in full flow.
But Tchatchoua is even faster than all of those players.
Earlier this season, Tchatchoua became the fastest player in the Premier League, getting clocked doing 37.3 km/h against Everton.
This was actually the third-fastest time ever recorded in the Premier League, with only Micky van de Ven and Kyle Walker ever going quicker.
Tchatchoua recently spoke to Wolves’ official website about his pace, saying: “I think it’s genetic. And also work, and training every day of some detail on the power of the leg. That’s it!”
Room for improvement for Tchatchoua
It has been a fairly lukewarm start for Tchatchoua so far at Wolves, and he hasn’t yet made that right-back/right wing-back position his own.
In terms of the Wolves players’ average rankings on WhoScored, Tchatchoua comes around halfway with 6.39.
Granted, he has been settling in and getting a feel for the Premier League.

But fans will expect big improvements after this latest international break.
Tchatchoua has the potential to be a serious weapon for Wolves with that devastating pace, but he first needs to prove to Vitor Pereira that he is a worthy starter.
There have been exciting glimpses from the 24-year-old, and hopefully we will soon be seeing the best of him.
