Wolves have sacked Vitor Pereira following dismal defeat to Fulham

It has been claimed that Wolves have sacked Vitor Pereira following the club’s defeat to Fulham on Saturday.

Wolves fell to a 3-0 loss at Craven Cottage, giving one of the worst performances of the season.

Pereira caused shock with his team selection, opting to bench both Andre and Joao Gomes.

But that decision backfired spectacularly, with Fulham easily beating Wolves. Ryan Sessegnon opened the scoring, before Harry Wilson added a second in the second-half.

Yerson Mosquera own goal capped off a miserable day for Wanderers – and it looks like this was the result that finally convinced Fosun to take action.

In the last moments, journalist Ben Jacobs has claimed that Wolves have now sacked Pereira.

There has not yet been official word from the club.

But this will likely come soon, and naturally, talk of who Wolves will appoint as the Portuguese successor will commence.
