Rob Edwards is buoyant as Wolves boast a fully fit squad ahead of their daunting double-header against Liverpool.
It’s a challenging week ahead facing the Reds twice, but Rob Edwards is optimistic about his team’s readiness and fitness levels.
After beating Aston Villa on Friday, there has been a fresh wave of optimism for Wolves fans.
Going into the first game with Liverpool though there were a couple of injury doubts. But Edwards gave a positive update at his press conference on Monday.
Rob Edwards says Wolves have no injury concerns ahead of facing Liverpool
The Wolves manager expressed his satisfaction with his squad’s condition, stating: “We’re fully fit.
“We’ve got a fully fit squad to pick from, which I doubt there’s anyone who’ll have that at this stage of the season. So that’s a really positive.”

The reporter questioning Edwards then clarified if that included Hwang Hee-chan as well. Edwards nodded.
Hwang has not been in any of Wolves’ last five matchday squads due to a calf injury.
It appears that midfielder Andre is also fine, after hobbling off late on against Aston Villa. Given how well he played against Villa, that is welcome news.
To not have a single injury worry at this point in the season is certainly rare, and Edwards will absolutely take it.
By contrast, Liverpool are dealing with a more significant injury list, with Alexander Isak, Wataru Endo, Connor Bradley, Diego Leoni and Stefan Bajcetic all out. Florian Wirtz is also a doubt.

Edwards calls for focus
Edwards has emphasised the need for focus and defensive strength as Wolves prepare to face Liverpool.
“We got to make sure that we from the first minute we’re engaged and we’re focused,” he said, highlighting the importance of starting strong against a team known for their quick and aggressive play.

Wolves’ 2-0 win over Aston Villa, with goals from Joao Gomes and Rodrigo Gomes, should be a real morale-booster for the team.
It marked Edwards’ second Premier League victory since taking charge, and it did show that this team still has fight in it.
Despite an awful campaign overall, we’ve seen Wolves take it to the top teams in 2025/26 and hopefully, we’ll see another positive performance tonight.
