Wolves players dominate Brazil national team

Along with Joao Gomes, the CBF confirmed Palmeiras’ Weverton replaced Liverpool’s Alisson, Paris Saint-Germain’s Beraldo replaced Arsenal’s Gabriel and Atalanta’s Ederson had replaced Flamengo’s Gerson.

Joao Gomes’ recent call-up means the Wolves midfielder has joined club teammates Matheus Cunha and Andre in time for Selecao’s upcoming match against Argentina (Mar 26).

Although Fosun’s spending hasn’t always matched the fans’ ambitions, there is no doubt the club have nailed some of their more recent recruitment.

The Brazilian trio are proof Wolves are able to identify under-the-radar talent. Andre was particularly impressive against Colombia earlier in the week, Cunha’s form needs no explanation and Joao Gomes remains one of the Premier League’s most consistent performers.

The downside is the more national call-ups for the trio, the more unwanted attention that will inevitably come their way.
