Compared to a couple of weeks ago, Wolves now have a newfound optimism after winning back-to-back Premier League games to move out of the bottom three.
Wolves secured a 2-0 victory over Southampton before putting Fulham to the sword as Matheus Cunha produced a masterclass in a 4-1 win.
The 25-year-old has dominated the headlines after his latest exceptional performance, with big clubs now showing transfer interest in Cunha.
This weekend, the Brazilian superstar will be eyeing some history for Wolves, as Cunha could win the Premier League Player of the Month Award.
It’s an accolade no player in the club’s history has ever achieved, and Gary O’Neil’s star forward will hope to inspire a victory against Bournemouth.

Paul Tierney named on VAR for Wolves vs Bournemouth
While Evanilson could come back to haunt Wolves this weekend after they failed to sign him in 2022, the VAR appointment for this fixture may cause some controversy.
Paul Tierney has been assigned VAR duties for the clash, while Peter Bankes is the man in the middle at Molineux.
Controversially, Tierney made the joint-most errors of any Premier League referee last season (4) alongside another experienced official, Stuart Attwell.
Most fans will be familiar with the man operating the technology this weekend as Tierney has been involved with 15 matches on VAR for Wolves, with the Old Gold recording six wins, four draws and five defeats.
The 43-year-old has also dished out 32 yellow cards and awarded two penalty kicks but perhaps more worryingly, he was axed by the Premier League after one fixture last season.
Tierney axed by the Premier League after Nottingham Forest vs Liverpool
Nottingham Forest was left seething by Tierney in March last season as he made an error that was dubbed ‘monumental’ by experienced official Mike Dean, via The Mirror.
In their clash against Liverpool, Tierney wrongly handed Caoimhin Kelleher the ball to restart play from a drop ball less than two minutes before Darwin Nunez headed home to snatch all three points in the 99th minute.
Forests owner Evangelos Marinakis stormed to the side of the pitch and was removed from the tunnel by security after asking for an explanation from Tierney, who wrongly allowed Liverpool to restart play after a collision between two of their players when Forest had possession outside the visitors’ penalty area.
International Football Association Board rules state the game should have restarted with Forest possession from where they had the ball outside the box, which explains why the hosts were annoyed.
As a result, Tierney was axed by the Premier League after this terrible error, meaning he didn’t referee in the next round of matches.
Now, Wolves will be hoping they aren’t on the wrong end of a high-profile error against Bournemouth this weekend.
