Wolves’ opening six games were not the easiest fixtures.
The Old Gold faced Manchester City, Newcastle and Tottenham in their first six Premier League matchups, as they ended that run with just one point.

There have been a couple of games where Wolves should have done better, particularly the 3-1 defeat to newly promoted Leeds United, and they were unlucky to not pick up all three points against Spurs.
The results have left the Wanderers last in the league and this has meant the Opta supercomputer now has Wolves predicted to finish 20th.
The difficulty of their next five fixtures has been revealed, and Vitor Pereira’s side might have some good news.

Wolves have one of the most favourable five-game runs in the Premier League
Wolves are desperate to start putting wins on the board after still being without one six games into the Premier League season.
In truth, performances were not good enough, with the game against Tottenham an exception.
In London, the Molineux side deserved much more than a point after a resilient effort against the Lilywhites.
The results have meant the Old Gold are one of the favourites to go down, but Pereira’s side may have some good news now.
According to the Opta Analyst, Wolves have the third easiest five-game run, starting with Brighton at home.
Of course, each game in the Premier League is difficult, with the Old Gold’s loss against Leeds United at home a prime example.

However, a favourable run could be the start of some momentum for Vitor Pereira’s side.
With a string of good results, the talk of Wolves going down could be diminished, and there are two key games in the next five that are must-wins.
Wolves must beat Sunderland and Burnley
Out of their next five matches, beating Sunderland and Burnley is an absolute must for Wolves.
The newly promoted sides have enjoyed a much better start than previous sides that have come up to the Premier League in recent history but they are still relegation candidates.
A win against both sides could see the Old Gold move out of the relegation zone, of course, dependent on results around them.

However, up first for Pereira’s men is a home match against Brighton. The Seagulls come to Molineux in what is expected to be yet another tough game.
Fabian Hurzeler’s team have a lot of threats in attack, and Hugo Bueno could be key against Brighton.
Additionally, Jackson Tchatchoua may start due to the presence of Kaoru Mitoma, as Wolves aim to pick up their first win.
