Potential summer transfer boost for Wolves

Wolves are facing a big summer ahead of them. The club have a chance to really kick on under O’Neil after a successful first season with him at the helm. 

This summer, plans have already started for pre-season with transfers likely to be the word on fan’s lips. Many positions need strengthening at Molineux including a striker and a defender.

However, Wolves may receive an additional boost thanks to a clause put in the sale of former academy graduate Morgan Gibbs-White.

Wolves stars shine on international duty

With the international break well underway, many Wolves stars have been given the opportunity to showcase their talents to their fellow countrymen.

Multiple first-team players from Molineux have been called up after a fantastic season, including Nelson Semedo. The wing-back has been excellent for Wolves so far this campaign and it seems this has now continued with Portugal.

On Thursday night, Semedo grabbed two assists for his country as they re-affirmed their Euro’s ambitions.

Several areas need to be looked at by Wolves to strengthen if they want to progress next season. One position that has looked weak of late is the defence.

Wolves have shipped seven goals in their last three games. This includes two in the dying minutes to lose to Coventry in the FA quarter-finals.

It has now been reported that O’Neil is chasing Juventus defender Koni De Winter with the aim of solving this problem.
