Wolverhampton Wanderers goalkeeper John Ruddy has made his first-ever post on Instagram.
The veteran was one of the few players at the club not to be on the social media site.
But the star has finally caved, following in the recent footsteps of club captain Conor Coady.
The skipper joined the site whilst on duty with England at Euro 2020, and has since amassed 136,000 followers.
Ruddy has made two posts today.
The first was to react to the defeat to Leicester City on Saturday.
He said: “Disappointing result at the weekend but plenty of positives to take from it. On to the next one @wolves #wolfpack.”
A number of fans have commented, and Jose Sa and Coady have also replied.
There was also a response from ex-Molineux wing-back Matt Doherty.
Clearly, Ruddy getting Instagram is not something too many saw coming.
The former Norwich City star also uploaded a wholesome snap of him and his daughter, the caption reading: “Road trip with my favourite girl.”
Ruddy is known for being quite a big character and a big personality in the dressing room at Wolves.
It will therefore be intriguing to watch his Instagram game unfold.
At the time of writing, he’s currently on around 5000 followers.
Who knows, perhaps someday he’ll be rubbing shoulders with Nelson Semedo (3m) and Raul Jimenez (2.4m) and Adama Traore (1.9m).
