Wolves give injury update on Yerson Mosquera but another doubt emerges as Man United fixture looms

Wolves’ squad seems to be dwindling after each game as more injuries are starting to pile up.

Yerson Mosquera was taken off at Anfield after receiving medical treatment, making him a doubt for the Manchester United clash.

Additionally, Santiago Bueno’s fitness has been put into doubt as well, as he seemingly picked up a knock late on against Liverpool.

Now, Rob Edwards has issued an update on both defenders as he sweats on their availability.

What way do you see Wolves’ trip to Old Trafford going?

Ahead of Wolves’ trip to Old Trafford, Rob Edwards has provided updates on the fitness of a few of his injury concerns.

The press conference for the Manchester United clash took place following his post-Liverpool conference, so the head coach did not provide as many details as you would hope.

However, he has clarified the issues currently facing both Yerson Mosquera and Santiago Bueno.

Edwards has said, “Yerson was feeling, I think, cramp, so hopefully he will be ok, and Santi took a knock as well, so maybe Krejci is forced to play at the back, and we will have to find another solution [in midfield].”

Of course, with Emmanuel Agbadou and Toti Gomes unavailable, as well as Andre’s suspension, Edwards certainly has a lot to think about.

Defensive crisis at Wolves, as options seem slim. If you were Rob Edwards, what would be your solution?

Injuries to Bellegarde, and Munetsi also cut down Wolves' midfield choices too…

He has few players to choose from for both defence and middle, but he could turn to one youth player to improve his midfield options.

The lack of players available could force Edwards to play someone out of position, or he could opt for a formation change.

Time will tell how the Old Gold set up at Old Trafford, but it is certainly not ideal circumstances as they chase their first win of the season.
