Wolves fans are hoping Rob Edwards can turn things around – but something worrying has come to their attention.
Wolves are in a new era now, having recently parted company with Vitor Pereira.
After a terrible start to the new season, Fosun sacked Pereira after the 3-0 defeat to Fulham, which many felt was the right decision.
In the end there was little arguing for Pereira to be given more time, and Wolves have now brought in Rob Edwards as his replacement.
It’s a huge job for Edwards. But clearly, he is ready for the challenge.
There has been plenty of praise for his character and some behind the scenes feel as though Edwards can unite Wolves during this time of need.
But ultimately the thing that matters the most is results.
And some Wolves fans are worried about having seen the next five fixtures.
Wolves fans are concerned about Edwards’ first five games

Edwards will be looking to get off to a good start at Molineux.
Getting that first victory will be so uplifting, and the sooner it comes the better – and hopefully it will be the catalyst for many more to follow.

But today, Wolves put out a graphic showing Edwards’ first five games as Wolves manager.
And it’s safe to say that plenty are a bit concerned that Edwards will not get off to the flying start he is hoping for Wolves.
@ColinPep1: “No Ws here and one or two Ds at best.”
@lillA79: “Behave! I was having a good weekend!”
@Tjb1887: “Write off this season and let him get us promoted from the champ 🐺🧡🖤”
@MattyEagle: “0 points.”
@KeirSawbridge: “Good lord.”
@Perbachi11: “Absolutely HORRENDOUS games 😭😭😭
@johndzidzor: “First win can come next year hm.”
A nightmare fixture list for Edwards
Things could very well get worse before they get better for Wolves.
A run of games against Crystal Palace, Aston Villa, Nottingham Forest, Manchester United and Arsenal is undoubtedly very tough for Edwards, with four of those sides currently in the top 10.
Are you confident Rob Edwards will help Wolves avoid relegation?
Forest will also be hard, as they’re scrapping for their Premier League lives just like Wolves.
The concern from the above fans is fully understandable.
But if Edwards can somehow sneak a win or two in there, then that will certainly leave fans feeling a lot more optimistic about the club’s fate.
